Apparently the world’s socialists have all gathered in Brazil for their answer to the World Economic Forum this week. Excerpts from an article:
“We’re letting them know we can create a world free of exploitation that will help the poor.”
Here’s a satellite photo of the Korean Peninsula at night. North Korea isn’t dead black because Kim Jong Il is buddies with Al Gore. I suppose the socialists at the rally either haven’t seen this photo, don’t get it, or just think they know something that the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea doesn’t.
They probably also think they’re smarter than Castro’s Cuba, the Soviets, and all the other failed socialist or communist states — including the rhetorical master, Hugo Chavez (who can’t seem to provide electricity to “the people”).
There’s the facts and then there’s logic. One happy socialist proclaims, “Socialism is Liberty… We want to distribute the riches to people.” I suppose it’s true: All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.
